Success Stories

Templates for Civil 3D

CADD worked closely with a major government agency to rebuild their Civil 3D templates. Getting a solid baseline by reviewing existing content and projects, CADD's experts worked directly with the stakeholders to outline their needs. Leveraging that information, plus their years of industry knowledge and best practices, CADD created a collection of new Civil 3D templates for this group to use internally and share with consultants to make working on projects with them easier.

CAD to BIM to FM

Government agencies love acronyms, and this has a whole bunch! Working closely with a major nation-wide agency, CADD helped plan their transition from a traditional 2D design workflow to a full 3D supported BIM workflow that ends with critical data being fed directly to the agency's Facility Management solution. CADD created the requirements, tested workflows, trained the teams, and deployed software needed to support this major change.

BIM Requirements

CADD's team are experts at creating, assessing, and assisting with BIM Requirements. Working with several agencies, CADD created BIM Requirement documents plus supporting assets for Revit-related software such as the Spatial Data Tool, Equipment Data Tool, Classification Manager, Model Checker, and the COBie Extension. CADD is the world-wide experts in these supporting applications since we are the development team behind these useful utilities.

Technical Customer Success Manager

Facilitating a major rollout and training initiative, CADD dedicated a technical expert to manage and oversee the entire project. Supported by a deep bench of experts, the Customer Success Manager was the key point person for this group and helped ensure consistency and efficiency for thousands of users world-wide.

Licensing Support and Assistance

CADD reviewed existing Autodesk license entitlements for a nation-wide agency and worked with the agency's technical team to help design new structure for licenses servers and target the group for a transitioning workforce and license model. CADD was able to collect data over time from the agency's usage and provide a visual dashboard to help review and build understanding for their needs.
