CADD Microsystems Honored for 25 Years of Collaboration and Achievements with Autodesk

ALEXANDRIA, VA, April 10, 2013 – CADD Microsystems, an Autodesk Platinum Partner, today announced that it has been honored by Autodesk for 25 years of collaboration and outstanding achievements. CADD Microsystems was recognized at Autodesk’s One Team Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada, last month.

“Our strong and enduring relationship with Autodesk is something we are extremely proud of,” said Jeff Gravatte, CEO of CADD Microsystems. “We continue to work closely with Autodesk to solve our customers’ challenges. After 25 years of growing our business, we have earned Platinum tier status, best-in-class customer satisfaction scores, and a track record of longevity in the industry. None of this would have been possible without our relentless focus on our customers’ business, and we sincerely appreciate their loyalty and partnership throughout the years.”

“CADD Microsystems has developed strong expertise in 3D design and used this expertise to help companies large and small realize the benefits of 3D to solve critical business challenges,” said Bill Griffin, Vice President Worldwide Channel Sales, Autodesk.  “It is a rare for a software company to have a quarter century relationship with its partners, so we’re especially proud to have such a long history of success with our partners like CADD Microsystems.”

CADD Microsystems has seen consistent success recently; the company was recognized by Autodesk as Reseller of the Year in FY2010, Partner of the Quarter three times in the last five years, and had one of its instructors win Trainer of the Year, as voted by students. CADD Microsystems also takes advantage of authorizations and specializations that Autodesk offers, earning AEC, MEP, Government, Consulting, Support and Fabrication specializations.

Autodesk supports a number of initiatives for its global channel partner network, including establishing a renowned reseller recognition program; implementing a customer engagement program that has assisted in increased partner solutions sales; investing in channel capability through training; and forming a channel partner web portal designed to deliver resellers access to a wealth of resources, program material and news.

Taking advantage of these resources and its partnership with Autodesk has helped CADD Microsystems achieve continued success in the industry. “When we first opened our doors 25 years ago, from day one we had a long-term vision we wanted to achieve,” explained Susan Thomson, CFO of CADD Microsystems. “I think our tireless pursuit of this vision, the dedication of our employees, and the support we receive from Autodesk have all played a part in our continued success, and we are thankful for the part that everyone has played in that.”

“Given that we are in the business of technology, we always knew things would change at a rapid pace and that we’d have to keep pace with that change,” explained Matt Davoren, President and COO of CADD Microsystems. “We have customers and employees that have been with us for more than 20 years, and we think that speaks volumes about the culture we have built. It has been a fun ride, to say the least.”
